You'd best check it against the track yourself as I really can't guarantee it's accuracy. I have a habit of making stuff up in songs I don't much care for and this one did my head in! |

I do - handwritten and no guarantee of it's accuracy but it's got me through a few gigs. |

Posted - 02/03/2012 : 14:40:53 Mr Ninja continues to be a big help to me. White Room, Sunflower, My Sharona - all for my new band and a tremendous help. I've just seen some more sheets I'd like mentioned above, so its back to the site.
If you ever have a few hours spare, how about a transcript of Your Game by Will Young. Its one tune I'd love to learn for myself but never had the time to sort out. |

I had a pupil who wanted to learn Artic Monkeys "Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" and I thought...."I'm sure that's on http://thedrumninja.com/drum-transcriptions/" and it was.

Posted - 04/01/2012 : 21:32:25 Hello peeps -first post.
I saw it mentioned, but it seemed to go no further, but did anybody manage to transcribe Placebo's Nancy Boy at all please?
I'm trying to recreate it for a backing track (too many years gone by to play stuff that energetic I'm afraid) and it's sat well in the mix; doing my noodle in!
I shall have to bodge my way through it...
Many thanks, Nathan.

I raised this question a while back and ended up transcribing it myself as it was a song I'd always wanted to play. It surprised me to learn that it's actually 4/4 when you least expect it to be!

Haha! No crash isn't too common or traditional I don't think so you're still the man in my books moose. I've only ever seen it in Rhythm mag and on some random cheat sheats. I quite liked it and that's why I use it.
The real question is, what's dibs going to do with all these extra points?

Hey moose, my mistake and thanks for pointing it out.
I've been writing N.C. where I should have been writing NC to mean 'No Crash' as dibs said. Subtle difference in writing but a big difference in meaning.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention and well done to dibs for interpreting it the right way, or the wrong way depending on how you look at it....
you've both earned bonus christmas points!!

With respect, I think the transcription of "Back in Black" isn't quite right. Bar 4 (ignoring the HH intro) and the other bars which feature those punches are wrong, I think. It should be
eighth-eighth-sixteenth-eighth-sixteenth-eighth-sixteenth-eighth-sixteenth-eighth
but you have it written as
eighth-eighth-sixteenth-eighth-sixteenth-sixteenth-eighth-sixteenth-sixteenthrest-sixteenth-eighth
I think I'm right, anyway! If I'm not, my apologies.
