Posted - 22/02/2012 : 09:26:40 My band has had an offer from the rehearsal studio we use to record there (it's not a recording studio) and they've made it sound very tempting at £180 per day.
However, before we leap at it I know it's worth doing a sanity check. Does anyone have any experience of any 'affordable' recording studios in the South-East that are worth checking out?
Thanks :-) |

Posted - 24/02/2012 : 09:13:37 Looks great, wish I had space for something like that! The background photo is amazing: since I was last there, there has obviously been a fair bit of development going on in Minster. |

Main thing is, price and attitude I guess, I just hire it when I am not using it so can be ultra flexible, just a sharing kinda guy..

He's a friend of mine. Move the faders and pan wheel to have a look around :o) Prices are always negotiable so best get in touch if it floats your boat.

Viv is a great fellow. I recorded 2 CDs with my old band there (The Fabulous Fezheads) and they are now working on their 3rd. Viv is a nice fellow, knows his stuff, and a good musician. He has good ears and is willing to advise and offer suggestions, but always without pressure to follow his opinion.
