Just got back from a rehearsal at Stage 2000 in Dundee and the kit supplied is a Mapex Saturn; pretty good thinks I, and it performed exactly as expected. But what I didn't expect was the snare: A Peral Omar Hakim signature model. Bloody marvellous it is too: I'd almost (Thats almost) be tempted to purchase one.

If you were on my sort of money you'd own both Arsenal & Tottenham outright but its just greedy!

I'd claim that Omar gave me the snare after my stint with Chic but I'd be lying but it would make a great Ebay storyline along with RARE!!!

Yard,

I didn't realise that you owned Arsenal

Yard,

Could have been worse, you could have said I've got Omar's 13" in my Asrenal!

Perhaps I need to be traveling from Edinburgh to Dundee for rehearsal Gaz! All the Edinburgh-shire studios appear to allow people to dance on their drum heads wearing stiletto shoes and then over tighten or remove every bolt on the kit

I have had the pleasure of hearing Omar playing his snare at a couple of wee gigs, close quarters, no mics. Sure sounds good when he plays it!

That's the 13x5 model, right? I've always wanted one of those...

Cracking snare. I bought Crafty's some time ago, loved it. Moved it on to finance other purchases.
