Posted - 20/04/2012 : 18:22:16 I've decided to leave one of my big bands to concentrate on small band work.
The Les Paul big band in Brighton are therefore looking for a replacement drummer. They are a well established, traditional big band, with some fine players and good charts. They rehearse on Friday evenings in Patcham. If anyone is interested in joining, please get in touch with me and I'll arrange for you to dep for me one Friday. You will need to read to a good standard and have a solid swing feel. |

Posted - 22/04/2012 : 19:06:23 Hi Chris,
Not very often, and they tend to be dances, which personally I don't find ideal. However, they do have an open evening once a month where the band plays all the stuff they've been working on - but I haven't been able to retire on my earnings from the band! |
