It reminds me of Men In Black...

Bug : Place your projectile weapon on the ground.
Edgar : You can have my gun...when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.
Bug : Your proposal is acceptable.

Mind you I'd be happy with that deal...the last one I saw in this neck of the wood sold for over triple that in no better condition. I've have some 70's Prem mahogany toms begging for a bass drum...

At first I though "What is that abomination on the top?" - nice that he put it in the vent hole.

Martin, it depends how the seller has set up their auction. In this case I think it was £55 or offers? So they can set up the auction to automatically accept any offer of say, £40 or over. Decline any offer below say, £30, and anything inbetween they can have a think about and then mail you to either accept, refuse or send a counter offer. You've obviously offered more than their minimum threshold. Nice buy that at £40... shame the rest was sold separately.

I only know because I goty caught out myself. I needed a cymbal stand quickly and put in an offer on 3 cymbal stands. All of them were accepted and I had to fork out for them all!

Hi Pete, pretty sure Ebay tells you that when you put in an offer.

Not havin a pop or anything, but why would a buyer want a "2nd chance" to accept the offer, that the buyer has offered? Surely you make the offer as that what you want to pay?
