I was watching a documentary on Fleetwood Mac the other week and I started digging out my copies of Rumours and Tusk. I realised I forgot just how good Mick Fleetwood is as a drummer and how much of an influence he was on me when I first started playing.
Any other big fans of his playing? |

Saw Mick Fleeetwood a couple of years ago over here. Loved his playing and was amazed by his size. At the end of the show the four musicians lined up on stage and Mick's arm was long enough to go across the shoulders of two of his mates! |

Funnily enough learning Go Your Own Way for a dep gig this weekend. Great tune to play. |

Yeah it was on BBC4 so I think that's the one. It was very interesting. I think it was 'Go Your Own Way' and he was leaning towards the groove from 'Street Fighting Man' but yeah the same documentary.
Well when you're back, drop me an email if you ever want to go for a pint. Saying that my band are gigging in June around the city centre anyway. |

Is the documentary the one that was aired a couple of weeks ago? With Lyndsay Buckingham talking about Tusk and how his vision of the song changed due to what Mick couldn't play?
