OK,these are coated, the bass is an early APK, the 14 and 15 are both converted hangers, so 14x12 and 15x13.
But they DO sound great!

So, she's 8" 10" 12" 14" floor tom and a sexy lil 20" bass drum. Coupled up with some very nice premier 2000 copperness, she'll be getting draughted in on the next album!!

Posted - 28/01/2012 : 00:59:37 Dug, you must have enough Premier gear to open your own shop !!! |

Posted - 28/01/2012 : 00:57:55 No liner - but no re-rings either, or?
If it has, I can send you a piece of 2 mm birgh to fit in it, if you´d like a try...

Posted - 28/01/2012 : 00:46:32 The 8" doesn't have a liner, the finishing on these drums is like obsidian, beautiful, just bloody miffed somebody has the 14x14 floor before I got a chance on it!! |

Would be an absolute pain to fit one - very fiddly, getting all your three hands into so little space to do the job. Jon/quote]
Nice! I once wrote a short story in the style of Douglas Adams' Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy. It said something like this: The fact that humans have two hands is conclusive proof of the non-existence of God, for if he did exist he would have known that all jobs which Man undertakes require three hands, so He would have made us with three.

Posted - 27/01/2012 : 13:14:00 Nice haul Dug. I think some of the earlier 8" Resonators had thin re-ring shells, but no liners which Prem claimed (probably quite rightly) that they did not have a worthwhile affect on the sound. |

Posted - 27/01/2012 : 11:13:18 Congrats - and shame you didn´t get the 14".
Not cheap, but still OK, I think.
This shop gives great service - bought a nice Inferno Red Projector kit there in december, postage less than 50£ to Denmark. Kit perfect, 2 very minor scratches all that could be found. Now awating cutdown from powersizes to normal, new lugs have been assmbled. Thanks, Nick and others!
Regards
Jon
