Apparently it was one of those hi tech cigarette things that emits so sort of steam or vapour, good training exercise though. I'm still laughing at OAs comment about the loss of £9.99 in revenue.

I don't think the emergency services need to pay the toll, but the AA and RAC do. Clearly they are NOT the fourth emergency service after all. |

EDIT did the police and ambulances etc not have to pay the toll fare? I noticed they HAD gone through the toll! |

No one has been injured, there is no danger to passengers and no one is being treated as a suspect after armed police evacuated a coach on the M6 toll, Staffordshire police have said. More details soon …

Hardly surprising the police are twitchy. It's the first Thursday in July: 7 years to the day, (Not date) since the London suicide bombings.

Not part of a planned Police operation. The coach stopped of it's own accord, not by Police. Apparently someone was seen on the coach pouring something into a container on the coach which was causing fumes. With the anti terrorist arrests elsewhere this morning, it could be the Police are a bit jumpy.
Perhaps someone caught short having a pee into a beer can. |
