Hello chaps, am having a bit of trouble syncing video with audio that I recorded using external mics in that the audio seems to run ever so slightly slower than the video and over the course of a five minute take is annoyingly pretty out of sync by the end... (probably all explained by the fact I recorded onto 1/4" tape) Was wondering whether anyone had any handy tips to fix it, have tried chopping audio into chunks and shifting it whenever it becomes out but inevitably if you're playing a groove it sounds a bit odd...

Was trying to avoid time-stretching the whole piece as I've heard it can do weird things to the sound but looks like it may be unavoidable....

Ah the joys of tape.

However having just played around with time-stretching in Logic it doesn't seem like it affects the audio too badly for what should be a half second stretch max... Will require a bit of guesswork but think that maybe my solution.
