| OK - finishing off my 12x5 snare. Used double sided tape for the wrap. Theres a slight overlap. What glue would you guys recommend? |

Contact adhesive is the best way, there's no getting the wrap off in one piece once its on with this stuff!
For a snare it will be ok to just contact adhesive the seam as the hardware will hold the wrap on fine. On bigger drums you may find bubbles or gaps where the wrap has lifted off the tape a bit. |

Double-sided tape is NOT strong enough for thick coatings, like Delmar Glass Glitter.
I know from experience....It was a mess lifting the coating enough to get space to work in order to remove the tape, and then glueing. The overlaps MUST be glued, and preferably scratch the very glossy surface with coarse sanding paper to help the glue bond.

Note, that is HAS to be the Flex-type - coatings has to be allowed to move a little when heated/cooled.
Also very good for repairs of loosening overlaps.
I use old-fashioned contact glue, solvent based and all.
