I've played every Sonor line from the Star kits of the 60's to some of the modern series', and to be honest, the Sonorlites are easily amongst my least favourite.

No denying the Scandi Birch really does look lovely though.

really, iv only heard good things about these.

Iv used a sonorlite snare and it was superb

I really like the current S-Classix, Phonics (Standard over Phonic Plus), and the Force Maples. (Probably the most underrated Sonor kits out there along with Performers.)

It's horses for courses; for some reason I just didn't get along with them, so opted for a Signature.
