| This looks OK in Chrome but not in Firefox - see what happens when you don't check your shiny new web design out on the available browsers |

| Yep. They do this a lot. If you buy the voucher you get 10% off. But it is a nice kit, and 10% would help. Not sure it is that over priced - the Phonic rosewoods go for quite a lot, and Sigs were more expensive than Phonics at the time |
Canopus Club, Paiste 602 and, occasionally, a cocktail kit. |

That's correct Gaz- Does what it says on the tin. Didn't realise the issue on Firefox though, thanks for pointing that out.
Cheap worldwide advertising and all within eBays terms and conditions.
Why pay through the nose for advertising when you don't have to? |

Not very long ago, a Signature kit in this condition would have gone for a telephone number price. Even in the States, where there are more collectors, there has been a slump. Phonic Rosewoods, and Phonic Oaks will probably still go for a decent price but just because of the rarity.

I actually think it is quite clever - but I didnīt get it before someone explained the idea to me.
Maybe we drummers are too thick, or the explanation must be more....clear?
THIS IS A WAY TO AVOID BLOODY EBAY FEES!
But maybe that wouldnīt be viable for a very prolonged time?

I know eBay is great in the sense you get worldwide advertising but 10% in fees then a further 10% on paypal is just outrageous. Surely a Ģ1 fee per listing is enough considering the millions of items that sell on there each month! So greedy!
I wish I had the technical know how and the time to create an affordable auction site for musical instruments.. |

Then again, looking at the individual deal, 5% fees are probably fair, compared to the hugely enhanced public reachable through Ebay.
The items I have sold on Ebay would have taken years to shift if I hadnīt had the worldwide exposure.
Likewise when I buy - OK, if my friend has the item, I get it cheap. If he hasnīt, I will have to pay more on ebay, because sellers has to add to compensate for the fees. But then 10% is nothing to pay for the availability, is it?
Only when I think of the thousands, maybe millions, of daily transactions, and the combined profit of them do I get Marxist....

That's what I'm talking about..Considering they have over 100 million on the site at any one time, most of them on 7 day auctions. Surely Ģ1 per item would be more than enough for anyone!?! |
