I've noticed that two of my Premier resonator toms have Evans G1 heads (one coated, one clear) on the reso side. These are batter heads, but I know some folk use them as resos. Now, I was considing removing these heads to have as spare batters. I have some factory stagg resos - how much worse are the toms going to sound with the stagg resos? Bearing in mind on the batter sides are new aquarian response 2 clears which sound really nice.

The resos make a huge difference to the sound. You'd be putting the G1s back on in no time.
