he actually plays music on there does he? ive not listened to him for years, because of those incessant annoying jingles he'd rather make us endure.

I tend to give it a miss also - I find it all a bit self-congratulatory.

Same here, never liked him back in the day on Radio 1 either, Richard Bacon on Radio 5 has the same traits, talks over his guests and wafles about twitter all day long.

Well I was listening to bits of it with my daughter in the car yesterday. She wasn't a big fan of Men Without Hats though (but she is 10).
