Would anyone have any 80s/90s Remo Drum catalogues available - PDFs would be great. I have, what I am lead to believe is a 80s Mastertouch and have just picked up a nice complete Bravo II as well in black. Link below to the Mastertouch. I wld much appreciate any catalogue specific info, if anyone can assist it wld be appreciated. Also date range of the Bravo II - photos of this to follow once fully cleaned up and re-headed. Approx. date of the Mastertouch would also be useful as I am not that sure. They are really nice drums and I have enjoyed playing this one. Does anyone collect them/or own a Remo kit(s) around here?

| Sorry I cannot help with any details, but I get the feeling that most drummers are not keen on Remo drums, but those who actually OWN Remo kits tend to like them. There are a few stories of the Acousticon shells deteriorating over time, but generally said to have a good sound and great volume/projection. |

I have some catalogues. Unfortunately I am away from today until June 17th and don't have time to scan them as I'm setting off in 20 minutes.

| I'm sure I still have them. Off to a gig in a bit so will dig them out tomorrow. No scanner here, but if you send me your postal address to pipandkat AT btinternet DOT com I'll whack 'em in the post. |

| I had a Remo Legero 22,16,12,10 shallow single-headed nesting kit,14x3 snare for maybe 10 years. Very loud and clangy but good for latin jazz. Like having an entire timbale kit. A bit flimsy and the bass drum was impossible to anchor. Here they are in use mid 1980s http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k291/davidh_03/remolegero.jpg Farnham Maltings, Surrey |

I've had a couple of Remo kits - a Mastertouch in the late 80's/early 90's - good sound - toms were very deep - the bass drum was ace from what I remember - and a Bravo (I think) from a similar period but much more 2nd hand!!
Boty kits were OK soundwise but I never loved either - they seemed a tad soulless. |

I've found some too. Bravo, Mastertouch, Triumph, Legero from 1992. Full catalogue with Legero, Mastertouch, Encore from 1990. Encore, Discovery, Liberator, Innovator PTS from 1987. Snare drum catalogue 1997. PTS catalogue 1982. Various other bumpf from the 1999 Remo Dealer Day...heads, perc, educational etc. Bung me an address on the email in the earlier post and I'll get the whole lot in the post to you. |

| All thank you for the offers and information, very useful and appreciated. I will, once finished post up a few photos of the Bravo kit. Mick , I too have one of those 14x3 Piccolo, brass effect covering - use it for small jazz gigs, quite a useful little drum. |

Piph, tks for the catalogues, arrived today - very useful and much appreciated, however I cld not identify my Bravo II in there, mine has a Pearl type double holder on the bass drum, nothing like the ones on the Mastertouch or Encore - don't know stumped Anyone offer any light on it - does anyone have a Bravo II? |

| ...and John....the red kit in the photo looks like a Bravo, not a Mastertouch....different lugs and bass drum spurs. |
