I got a snare shell with a bunch of drums,it had very poor hardware on it so I deceded to rebuild it properly,its obviously a quality shell 14 x 6 8 ply, maple but 2 inner plys look like mahagany?,very well machined to a high finnish even on the inside so I was thinking Keller?,did any of the big shell manufacturers produce 6 ply maple 2 ply mahogany?
