My dad was a drummer and in the old days when all heads were made of calf skin, he used to put his snare drum in the airing cupboard to tighten the head! Maybe a warped guitar neck gives a sort of Hawaian (spelling?) sound?

Ludwig vintage Vistalite (Tequila Sunrise), Super Classic (Champagne sparkle), Speed King/Hercules, vintage Avedis Zildjian. Snares: Vistalite & Acrolite.
