Singist and Guitar no2 are not happy with it. Personally I think it's pretty cool. I think the drums are OK, although I think if I did it again there would be a few bits I'd change.

Not my type of music but i quite enjoyed it. Overall i thought it sounded good. I have never been totally happy with stuff we have recorded, i doubt anyone ever is!

Resonators and Ufips....just beautiful. www.vintageolympic.co.uk

Rotocasting is definitely the pinnacle of cymbal manufacture!

There's a lot to like about the track - drums foremost in that, I really like what you play.

The vocals in the verses in the early part of the song have a bit of an insipid 80's sound to them - I don't know if it's the singer's voice or the mix as the problem disappears in the choruses and the bridge bit later on when the vocals are much more powerful and suited to the energy of the accompaniment.

Also, I couldn't hear any bass at all. That said I'm listening to it on a laptop...and it may be that there's no bass on the track but I felt it was a but lacking in that department.

That all sounds a bit negative but honestly I really liked it and it's not usually my kind of thing.

Thanks both :)

Dibs - the bass is fairly mostrous in this song - understandable that you can't hear it on a laptop though, Norbert's bass is very low but if you put it on a decent pair of speakers it's pretty powerful. I think yes I may agree to some extent about the vocals, we're not aiming for cheesy - most of our stuff is pretty heavy, but I think this one was kinda aimed at 'Solo Played In Front Of A Church Or Possibly On A Cliff Edge' kind of NOvember Rain type thing....

Tight, driving, economical---enjoyed that. Looks like the fans enjoy it too.
