Hi, expert knowledge required.
Due to needing a new boiler at home, and me not wanting to borrow any money, I've decided to sell my Recording custom, probably on ebay. I've got a selection of toms, and I reckon it's best to sell as a 'core' set-up then sell the extra toms seperately.
So what do you all think would fetch the best price together?
They are 8x8 10x8 12x8 13x11 14x12 15x13 and 22x16. Should I put up 12, 13, 14 with the bd or 10, 12, and 14? which leaves me to dispose of the trickier 13 on its own, and the easier 8 and 15.The 10 12 13 14 and bd were bought as a set so are close serials, the 8 is new, and the 15 is an earlier non yess Made in England shell.
Thanks for your thoughts.

10/13/15 would be an interesting set of toms in a kit. Good intervals.

I LOVE a 13" tom but not with a 12" sat next to it up top.

You're right, the 8x8 should sell itself.

Perhaps the 12" and 14" could go together then for someone with getting a BD separately?

22, 10, 12, 13, 15. The 8 and 14 shouldn't be a problem to shift.

Keep it simple: offer the 22/10/12/14 as a standard shell pack and orphan the 8, 13 an 15 seperately. Bear in mind that most 9000 kit owners will start with the basic 10/12/14 setup, so those other sizes are more commonly looked for as add-on items (quicker sale & higher price).

Thanks guys, bear in mind the 10 and 12 are both the same depth. I've always thought they look a bit odd together? And the 12 abd 13" together are a big jump between depths which also looks odd. Having got it all out and photographed it this morning, I'm thinking maybe 12 ,14,and Bassdrum together only? I was mainly using 8 10 12 up top and 14 down, which looked and sounded good though.

I'd package the 22, 10, 12, 14 together and sell the others separately.

What about the classic Weckl 9000 setup:

8/10/13/15/22?
That leaves the 12 and 14 to sell separately, or perhaps someone will take the 12 to put to the left of the hats as per Weckl's Way at the time?

I'd love a 9000 in cherry wood, 8/10/14ft/18bd... mmmmmm..... not that you could construct such a beast from your drums, but nonetheless....

Hi Steevo,
If they are in Cherrywood and non-YESS I'd certainly be interested in the 13 & 15 if you were thinking of splitting?
