title pretty much sums it up. I'm after a new snare and have narrowed it down to one of these two. I have tried both in store and found the brass to be perhaps a little snappier, but not a massive amount to tell between them.
Does anyone own both, or either and have an opinion? Better yet, has anyone done any recordings of either I could have a listen to?

Yup, owned both. The bronze won out for me, over both the brass and a Luddy 400.

| Ive had all 4 sensitones, and the aluminium is best. But in answer to your question the bronze, unless the brass is nickel plated, in which case go for the brass. |

| Thanks all. I took your advice and bought the Bronze. It is a cracking snare, got a good deal more cut that my birch one. I'm going to be playing with tuning a bit yet, but I get the feeling it's a very versatile drum. |
