A college friend went to look at a car which was advertised for £200 instead of the likely £2000. All was fine, he decided to buy it and asked the woman to confirm the price. Yup. £200. her husband had run off with another woman, asked her to sell his car and forward the money! Could this be a similar scenario?!

Mapex seem to have taken over where Pearl Export have left off. Not keen on them myself to be honest, but horses for courses as they say. Where are they made as a matter of interest?

Ludwig vintage Vistalite (Tequila Sunrise), Super Classic (Champagne sparkle), Speed King/Hercules, vintage Avedis Zildjian. Snares: Vistalite & Acrolite.

The JHS plant in Tianjinn; the same facility that makes Sonor's Force shells and shells for some other companies.

All you Mapex bashers are a bunch of muppets! (please note humour content!)

They make great quality pro kit. Yes the name is pish, and the logo. But my Saturn sounds feckin epic, and is sexy as hell.

Anyway, carry on! :-)

By the way, when I said "China, like almost everything else these days." I meant that factually, not slagging Mapex in any way. In fact at least Mapex has been Chinese from the off, rather than other companies who's drums you might think are made in Japan, USA, Germany or UK, but many of which are also made China.
