I absolutely love Steve Gadd's playing style to bits but.....from time to time would love to hear him play a groove over 100bpm

I think his playing here is well-tailored to the music, but I feel that the music itself could do with a bit more life, and that would give Gadd more choices. The problem for me is that it is all a bit too clean and "tasteful". No disrespect to any of them though, it just does not grab me.
