if you want vintage then go for the acro. If modern then the Peral. I have both, and both are equaly as good.

It was a new acrolite not a vintage one. whats your view on the new luddy gear?

modern Acrolites and 400's seem fairly expensive when it's the vintage ones that have the mojo... and go cheaper... nuts!

i'm with luke, if new the Pearl. they sound good and much more realistically priced for that sorta drum.

60s/70s Acrolites are the backbone of the recording industry.
