| I'm looking for an unusual vintage looking snare strainer for my next build project. I want something which will look unusual and old but will accommodate modern style snare wires. There is a Ludwig P-87 on ebay at the moment but it looks like it is designed for non-standard snare wires, any other suggestions? |

OK i'll try a different route, snare pics of hole spacings are on page three of the reno thread 6th post by me!! strainer side two holes vertical, 3" centered apart butt, triangular, bottom two, 2& 1/8" apart then from either one its 1&1/2" to the top center,.

| Hi Paul, You might have to make a bracket that uses the existing holes and fitted to accommodate an older snare switch |
