Care to share?

Somewhat ungentlemanly of you if I say so myself!

It's a Premier Elite mahogany shell kit 13,14 16 22, 2000 snare, 250s pedal going by the pictures. Sorry if I bid on the item, but to be honest, it has happened to me so many times by members on this forum having mentioned items. It's how it its. again sorry. If you want it more than I do, it's down to numbers. As of this moment, there are 19 watchers on it, so it should in the end go for a good price

Wasn't complaining at you bidding, god no, ebay is a free for all.

I was just curious as to what the kit was and was sulking that you weren't sharing your knowledge!

I always share what I know, I was a bit busy typing in my ebay password on the stupid iPad. There is a danger mentioning good finds on this forum, there are a lot of sharks out there who read this and never contribute at all. I'm selling both my kits at the moment so I'm looking for anything nice to mess around with until I find the "right" kit. I know I won't find one in the uk, I'm being uber fussy this time.

At one time, some of us had our ebay names in our signatures (Before 'private' listings) so we could see if anyone else was interested and make contact so we didn't accidentally fleece one another.

Bad for the seller and totally against the spirit of ebay, but with them now taking 10% final value fees, they make enough as it is.

If I find a 'must have' I will let people know and hopefully not get hosed. If I find a 'nice to have' I'll also see if anyone else is interested just so I don't push the bidding up for no real reason.

I know some will give me flak for it, but c'est la vie.

to be fair to others, as I didn't "find" this, my top bid is 3 quid over the shown price. If the thread starter wants this I will not bid again. I can't be fairer than that. The last time it happened to me when I posted a heads up to a kit with a BIN price on it, someone jumped in and put in a low start bid, than said on this forum that he didn't really want it, but had to bid. I've just stuck it back on ebay as I need/want/have to have a vintage downbeat kit. I missed the lovely red one the other week due to not pulling my finger out and moving on my "modern" stuff. So let it be known, I'm looking for a 12 14ft 20bd kit of the highest order

nah mate, wasn't wanting to bid I genuinely just wanted to know what it was and thought someone here might want it as it was an old premier with little no indication in the title and I know a few here like their vintage premier

I'm glad someone wanted it!

I for one won't give you flak. Not if I'm a buyer anyway. As for if I'm selling
I'm all for minimising eBays criminal fees.
Actually for those who aren't on there, which is probably none of you by now. Can I just give a heads up to Pip H's buying and selling drums Facebook site. Be warned though, it's addictive

Went for a song + pickup expenses!!

I'm always amused by the 14x8 + 13x9 combo, which I think this is.

They took a while to get round to making the 14x10, which is what one would normally expect (?)

14" snares and toms were available for years in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.5, 8, 12 and 14" and other depths, but it took many years, all night brain-storming sessions, months of research and experimenting and a huge leap of faith to invent 14 x 10"

Funny that it seems the cheapest way of getting a 2000 snare is to accept a complete Elite on top of it.....what are the cymbals?

Nice buy!

Jon

I TRY to tell myself I already have what I want.....
