A friend's band wanted me to join them for their acoustic set. No rehearsal and, I had never heard any of the songs before. This was the gear I needed:

Various percussion items and a few CDs to sell, all in one shoulder bag total weight 6 lbs (2.7 kg).

Easiest gig ever for me, and home just before midnight, yay!

I wish more of them were that easy! I did not even use the maraccas or the small doumbek and only took them because another friend said he might turn up and join in if there was anything spare, but he did not show up, so I could have had even less to carry!
