Hi everyone!

I'm doing a research project for my university degree and I'm just asking everyone if they could take 3 minutes out of their day to do my questionaire about cymbals.

Many kind regards, Baxter.

Just a note - on the question that asked for a ranking from 1 - 5, I couldn't see any numbers by the radio buttons. Might just be me. Luckily my answer was 3 anyway!

done, whats the posed question of the project?
interesting how there are so many cymbal geeks out there.

you could try asking this on Cymbalholic forum, however... i think they will all give you a very similar answer... it is a website dedicated to mostly jazz ride enthusiasts!

Aye, done.

Small point - when you're creating questionnaires, make the response options as CLEAR as possible. You ask the user to rate their knowledge of cymbal characteristics from 1 to 5, the user is expected to click one option button, but there's no way for the user to know whether "1" is on the left or right of the page!

Did the survey. Just got in from playing a jubilee party gig where kindly I got to use the headlining band's kit. I have never sat behind so many cymbals in my life! I usually use 1 or 2 plus hi hats and I must say I really enjoyed having so many to use - I counted 7 - mostly Sabian HHs - one even had a load of holes in it like a swiss cheese and sounded really washy as a ride under jazz guitar solos. If it wasn't for the weight I might be tempted
