Hi all,

I've picked up an old Pearl Brass piccolo snare for cheap, but the strainer on it is broken. I have a feeling that there is a vintage Pearl parts website but can't seem to find it, can anyone help? Or failing that, any ideas on how to replace the part?

The link to the picture is - http://tinyurl.com/pearlsnarestrainer

Would prefer to find the same part again rather than drill the shell to fit a new/different part.

Many thanks!

Do you still have the other bits or is it as seen, as this type of pearl strainer has lots of metal to play with a repair may well be doable, if you're anywhere near reading I'll have a go.

Sorry for the slow reply - it's as seen, no other parts came with it when I bought it! I'm afraid I'm up in Nottingham, but many thanks for the kind offer. I'm thinking I might have to get a new piccolo strainer (Gibralter or Pearl) and fit it with drilling as little as possible!
