Scott was a member of staff at Electro Music in Doncaster before leaving for a great job teching for Keane a few years ago. He was a great guy, very knowledgeable and friendly, an unassuming manner, infectious enthusiasm, and a superb drummer to boot. Very sad news indeed.

And based on what I have read, he was respected as well. May he rest in peace and his kin be comforted by the condolences they receive.

Shocking and tragic news. Thoughts also with the rest of the crew and the band at this time.

Sad news, I hadn't put two and two together and realised it was that Scott from Electro. Nice guy, sad loss.

The Scott Johnson Bursary has been set-up to fund musical equipment for young people in Rotherham (Scotts home town) http://www.nme.com/news/radiohead/65399#21.
A very sad incident but I'm sure the find will help keep Scotts memory alive and of course do some good for others. |
