-----failure with my 6000 series (C2001)snare drum stand.
Had it as part of the share kit we used at local Jazz Fest last w/end.
All good guys these drummers but we had the Army swing band along and---Mr Block head wanted the basket around the other way sooooooo----eee' wrenched it around!!Would'nt wait for me to come across and adjust it!! well after that we were stuffed as the: metal collar around the black nylon BALL, fatigued, and split, leaving no pressure on the ball to keep basket in place!!
I was pyyyyysssseeeddd AWFFFF !
Now folks I need a new "Collar" with the 4 x allan key holes in it, please??
Thought I'd ask here first if one knows of there whereabouts---PLeeeeze?

Ps: The metal collar measures approx: 2+ 3/8ths inches or 60mm in outside diameter, the black nylon ball sits in the middle and there are 4 x allan key holes around the perimeter also?? |
