Just wondering, are these a lot scarcer than their usual counterparts with the Oly styled lugs?? I just found this little belter-

Would like to pair a 14" floor and a 12" tom with it.

I had a kit for a while - 18x14, 12x8, 13x8 (yes!) and 16x15" - and in Golden Sun. Probably made to special order, as Golden Sun wasnīt a catalogue option when the Mk. II was made, and the 13x8 is also weird.

I didnīt really get along with the kit, mainly because of the 16" floortom, and as the kit was pristine, someone gave me a very generous offer for it. I accepted it...

The seller is Flash who rarely posts here now. If I had any room in the car, I'd bring it along for you tomorrow, Dug.

I've no idea why he listed it as maple though.

The 13x8 tom could have been a special order or an old Olympic shell that was used up.

Resonators and Ufips....just beautiful. www.vintageolympic.co.uk

The guesses were a special order, an old Olympic tom would have been too wide for the plinthed lugs - the Golden Sun coating pointed that way too.

Maybe a kit for a kid?

Hi Dug - I met you today at SITMS, you gave me a badge you had for my daughter as I couldn't find Jezza !! DrummerNick (lives just up the road from me) told me about that 18 bass but it'd gone by then !! I have a 24" mk2 S/wave with 12/13/14ft/16ft I'm soooooo jealous of that bass - IF you ever decide to move it on please please let me know ( the Fensters got my number/email ) - it'd give me every set up I could ever need !!
I got the 14ft from Lou Dias (RIP) ages ago and Mike E said at that time he'd never seen another.
Hope you enjoyed today - Jesus what a joyful noise we all made !!

I'll bear thee in mind, lad. Just won a 13" for Ģ14. I'd love a 14" floor for this set up...if you ever want to part with it, mucker...;-)

can't see me selling it Dug. Yesterday it was used by my 9 yr daughter with a 16" bass to do SITMS and I often put it with my 12 and 16 to make 1 up 2 down. If I see another I'll let you know.
