Sad passing today at 77 to pancreatic cancer. What a great body of work to leave behind - a legacy to be proud of.

As a former member of a Purple tribute I'm devastated. I'm (obviously) not a keys player but I was a fan.

a gentlemen , an amazing musician , always looking forward , nothing about the music business had jaded him or inspired bitterness like so many , humble , ferociously talented as composer and keyboard player , loved by everyone that knew him , i shall truly miss him , warm that Leslie up there Jons coming

71 I believe David, however a true Rock legend was Jon. RIP his stint with the OUEENSLAND Symphony was brilliant back a few years.

Sad news. Lovely guy - met him when he was touring 'Malice In Wonderland' with Tony Ashton and Ian Paice - expect he and Tony are re-united jamming upstairs as we speak........
