I am not that much into the different Artstars....What is an Artstar Custom compared to the others of the line?

| Just different fixings and badge I thin, Jon. They were the last of the line and ran alongside starclassics for a bit. I love Artstars, they do look their bst in titanium or black lacquer for my money, though. This ones cleaning up a treat, the rolls royce of Tama's. |

If I was into 24's and it was local to me, I'd be onto that like a fat kid on a chocolate. As Mcmaul says, it's just the fittings that the last of the line had that were a little different. Lugs and claws were the same as Artstar II, but with normal rods instead of T's. Die cast hoops, and with that particular kit it's got the Starcast suspension mounts that were an option. Mounts and spur assemblies are the same as Starclassics.
And the little black number is a cracker. That's an early one, with the painted interiors and hex rod tom L rods... |

Thanks, Andrew!
Hmmmm.....still pondering.....they are very deep, those toms, and not easy to place over a 24". But then I have no other kits with a 24", and no "Modern" kits, which a Tama will be, compareable to my Premiers.
