Javier Weyler parted company with Kelly Jones and by the rather obscure posting on facebook and forums "that he is no longer working with the band" kinda suggests handbags of some sort - especially as they have just come out the studio with imminent gigs requiring a last minute stand in.

Shame as I really like the band and although mr. Cable (RIP)
could never be replaced I did like Javiers style and what he brought to their sound.

Anyone know what went on ?

Shame that. He's a top bloke to. Met him after a gig in an after show party. Seemed to have plenty of time for a chat and pic.

I'd be more than happy to play for them, if they'd just ask.

Never saw them live with SC behind the tubs but many times with Javier. Really got in to them when they rocked out the Live 8 concert and, IMHO, blew most the other bands out the park, mainly due to Kelly's vocals and stage presence.

Just something very odd about the way the split happened - someone deffo stepped out of line for it to go off like that.
