He was on a 2008 ish Modern Drummer Festival DVD and then went on to play with Joe Zawinul. He's no slouch.
No 6 of 582 and 850 Mapex Orion. Paiste 16 & 18 crashes Sabian AAX 13 sox B8 china.

One of the great tricks in his vocabulary is called fatbacking. He does this on http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=piEHfE71dZI&feature=endscreen at 11.33. This is from his Modern Drummer 2003 performance
