I know it puts on gigs, mainly underground / unsigned bands from I can see. I'm sure some of you will have played there.

What's it like to play? In terms of sound, promotion and punters? Is it all Goldsmiths students or ruffian locals?

Squeak's son's band played there a few times and as it's just down the road I went along. Bit of a dive and mostly locals rather than students, and I was out of intensive care and off the critical list within a few weeks. The punters are there for the music, and appreciative. Just not particularly multitudinous! Do whatever you can to promote yourselves and bring any you can. Seems to be a reasonable house PA and sound, certainly the times he played there.

Cheers for the info Captain. I'm meant to be playing there with an indie-pop band from my neck of the woods however I think there's better venues for us.
