Nicola Adams, on paper the underdog but what a result; 16-7 and a place in history.

Fantastic and well deserved victory for Nicola Adams. She now has her place in history as the first ever female Olympic boxing gold medalist. No one can ever take that away from her! Oh, and I love the Ali shuffle

Must say, I have been right highly impressed by the overall performance of the competitors from The People's Free Republic Of Yorkshire.

Yes, Nicola Adams' victory was one of my best moments from the Games. Brilliant performance, historic, and a nicer more modest person would be hard to find. All in all, I've really enjoyed the women's boxing.
